Stance - 3M review - Status
Hiyas Everyone!
It’s been some time, and I’ve been slowly moving forward (somewhat directionless) but getting some artwork done! Let’s look at the topics I have on my mind:
OFFICIAL STANCE/STATUS:
With Deviantart (DA), I still have been seeing that same issue of unequal censorship within this site. IF an artist is popular, suddenly the can do no wrong, posting stuff such as rape, murder (hanging & crucifixion being popular), graphic sex, and more, without any censoring, whereas any other artist even attempting to do something similar, albeit tastefully (often implying stuff like sex), get the art works removed, regardless of the rebuttal… It just makes me more annoyed & bothered by such, for an art site should allow a lot, rather than cater to the few…
With all the “updates” on DA, they [Admin] only made the site murkier to use, while trying to regulate more stuff. Sure, they managed to insert a “buggy chat function” (a mixed blessing) but complicated the simplest stuff on the site – like posting artwork! It just pushes me away from this page… it’s the reason, I have begun to post to Newgrounds (also under AL-818). This page won’t close, since there’s a lot of art here, especially some nice pieces I’m proud of…
3M AND OPINIONS:
I have been revisiting 3M and seeing exact what you, the viewers do and don’t like… yet, let’s look at the 3M evolution…
While 3M originally evolved from 3K (loosely based on an Ex), I moved forward with them by morphing them into something new, namely having 3different yet, identical gals with thicker bodies and blonde & orange-red manes. Over time, 3M has become a lot thicker (to break away from the common “average” body type) and her two-tone hair moved from pure “yellow” blonde to strawberry blonde, while her orange-red hair got somewhat wavier/curlier.
As a lot of time went by (namely a hiatus where my baby girl and puppy, entered my life) I figured that 3M was overdue for an update, a different revamp of sorts, even a bit drastic… it had me thinking of a few different things to make them stand out – keeping them thick, for few women/mascots are, especially identical multiples! The hair color shifted again, yet still keeping the two-tone, tho more of a strawberry blonde/light orange, while making the hair curlier/wavier than usual but keeping the same orange-red hair. Lately, I’ve been seeing that yellow blonde & red hair color schemes popping up a lot more in different people’s works, which had me wanting to explore a more “realistic” view of the hair coloring – the light & dark orange colors… With the thick hair that 3M have, the curly/wavy hair is a better fit albeit for it would result with more of a “big hair” hair look which still needs a bit of refining…
Now, with all that in account, I’m curious of you, the viewer’s selections of the different 3M versions:

While I am beginning to get more time to draw and making more of an effort to get artwork out there… tho I think I will be posting more to Newgrounds (AL-818), yet, might still post some stuff here (like it did with the updated 3M versions). We’ll see what art goes where… overall, I want to start doing more art that I want (unless commissioned), yet, it will be stuff geared about my preferences, especially since I want to (somehow) start doing my long-pushed-back webcomic idea… might even do a separate page for it… we’ll see…

Uncertain with DA and other stuff

Well, I'm not sure what to say here now... this new DeviantArt (DA) is a train-wreck which is rather unhelpful & not user-friendly, especially when I was starting to get my art going more... it really has me uncertain with posting anything here, with this mess of a system and such. While I do like "improvements" (in general), this change has been disruptive to the process of having an art site, that it just frustrates people (like me) to do even simple stuff like posting a journal or some other notification (took me over an hour to get to this point!). All this just has me wondering "WTF" with so many things...
While I'm uncertain about leaving, this "train-wreck" called DeviantArt certain is trying to push people out - the BS with "reported" violations of art posts (despite the "adult" filters - why have them when you get "punished" for a viewer being able to see them), the navigation issues (journal???????), the "public domain" shift (the cause of this overhaul) from private, and the imbalanced efforts of the admin of DA (how many posts have been "reported" as "violations" despite the popular artists post worse, and get away with it????)....
For right now, I will be exploring other sites (looking for suggestions), yet, it's looking like I might be doing more on Instagram & Facebook (again uncertain on when new stuff will be posted, while I check out other sites - definitely looking for suggestions for new sites), for dealing with this mess called the new DA ("Eclipse"), they "eclipsed" everything decent with their poor efforts... I won't be doing the "core membership" anymore nor support a lot of their efforts until some significant (stable) improvements can be provided. Maybe, later (down the road), I might reconsider DA for my art, but right noe, it's not the case...
If anything, I'm looking for suggestions for other art sites, to post new artwork, so, drop a line in the comments below and we'll discuss - I'll still be checking DA here & there (questionable intervals), while (of course) checking Facebook & Instagram (links below). The chance to chat will also be open to discuss stuff too...
With that being said, I won't delete the stuff on this page - I've literally spent over a decade of my life to set up this page - and will try to do something "redirect" art to where my current stuff is (again uncertain if it will till be with DA or some other site, but right now, it will probably go more towards Facebook or Instagram)...

Quick Update - news - sale
QUICK UPDATE
While I know it's been a while, especially with the Covid-19 stuff and a lot of other junk, I decided to provide a quick update - yes, I am alive and gradually drawing (with limited time, thus not really much "quality" pieces sadly)... everything is ok here, tho still stuck at home and doing stuff around the house, as well as some "unfinished" items (chores around the house, and some "back burner" tasks)... so, drawing is in the works, but slowly, making more time for myself... tho still manage to check DA

With being shutdown & still cooped up inside, some new artwork will be on the way, pending some of these things being done... so stay tuned...

After looking thru some of my older art, I decided on any unsold artwork on this DA site, I am willing to sell at a cheaper price to get rid of it
I figure with some of the sketch covers I've done can easily be sold, if people are interested. Only artwork that really won't be going anywhere are the 3K/3M (or other "Mascot" art) . While some of the pieces shown on the site might already be sold, there are plenty of other available are which I estimate to be in the $30-$60 range ($10 shipping - not included in price). There's many pieces to choose from, and some edits/adjustments can be added to some of the pieces as well (tho no major overhauls or such). Note me if interested in a particular art piece...
Nov-Dec Update - new addition - sketches
Well, the time is flying with this Holiday season, which is hitting me more with holiday-oriented stuff with the family, thus not getting much art done. A lot of my time is being eaten up by different things (first Thanksgiving, now Christmas-oriented stuff), which has me trying to get even ONE piece out at this point. I will have to see what I can do, but not expecting to get much time to do any of the major pieces I have lined up...
NOV-DEC UPDATE
With the Season's holiday stuff in full swing with the family, I'm having a tough time getting to some art, I do have several pieces lined up (collaborations), however, each of them will take some time, as well as the inking pieces I have in mind. I hope to provide (at least) one piece for the season, as well as get another piece going, for reasons to be mentioned in the next "section"...
NEW ADDITION
I have finally caved into my Wife (& kids, by extension) and we have adopted a 3-month old purebred German Shepherd puppy, named Sophie! While this "gift" is an early Christmas present for the kids, the puppy has been my shadow (probably considers me the "Alpha" for being the main male in the household, as well as the guy who feeds, walks, and cleans up after her) and she's been a mixed blessing so far - if she didn't poop/pee in the house, she'd be even better. We got her the day before Thanksgiving, on the premise that "Santa took her out for a dry run, but she whined too much, so he dropped her off early" (HAHAHA). Meanwhile, my other shadow and Daddy's girl, a bit of a "rivalry" has formed for my attention between the 2 of them, which is interesting - the puppy adores my Lanie, while my babygirl is slowly growing to like her rival. Sophie also has been VERY protective of Lanie, even whining and getting agitated when Lanie cries during her diaper changing, as well as gets in front of her to protect Lanie from "potential threats" like a stepdaughter driving into the driveway. So, instead of dealing with 1 "babygirl", I have 2 to contend with, which means more time eaten into my possible art time...
SKETCHES
As for a gift to my viewers, I will (try to) do some single head sketch drawings - some quickie Christmas sketches that I can post, which will of course feature gals in turtleneck sweaters (at least the "collar area") of people's suggestions. While I can't (per se) do any real requests (at the moment, because I don't need something too "complex"), but I think I could still do a few nice small sketches as gifts (like post-it size) as a nice "thank you all" for continuing to view me, despite the ups-and-downs of this particular artist (and his endeavors). So, I'd say leave some suggestions in this post and I will see which ones to draw up
Side Notes:
I do want to wish a lot of greetings out there - Happy Holidays, Happy Kwanza, Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah, and Seasons Greetings, as well as some "Happy birthday" wishes to particular woman on Dec. 3 (my wonderful wife) & "Happy Namesday" (feast day) to those who celebrate it on Dec. 7 (especially 2 particular people).

OCT Update - General Update - Other
Sorry for the delayed Update... I actually thought I had posted more, yet, realized I haven't updated the Journals!!! (tho this one will be a "quickie")
OCT UPDATE
Either way, this is a late OCTOBER update, which I was hoping to post last weekend, or maybe get a chance to squeeze in a Halloween piece, but no such luck - between the stepkids' activities, my toddler stuff, and general work (at home & at work), it's been a challenge to get some art in. A lot of construction jobs (& associated approvals) are wanted at this "end of season" bit, but seeing where I can squeeze in some stuff. I figured some inking pieces & shared design pieces would be a nice bit... lately, I've been on an "evil twin" kick, which has me thinking of those types of stories and such
GENERAL UPDATE
I'm hoping for some changes in the future, hopefully getting more of a "story" going somehow, for I want to add some "consistency" to my work, which should show a lot more of the 3M girls, as well as a revised version of my old team "the Trouble Magnets", while still playing catch-up on some other pieces!
OTHER
Besides that, I'm just hoping for some nice pieces to be done soon (more collaborations as well as original art) to really get things going better
There will be more later, especially with the next update, tho wait & see
